Detention and Correctional Occupancies (BLD-DET & SAF-DET)
The Technical Committee on Detection and Correctional Occupancies is responsible for requirements pertaining to the protection of human life and property from fire and other circumstances capable of producing similar consequences, and on the emergency movement of people in detention and correctional occupancies within NFPA 101, Life Safety Code, and NFPA 5000, Building Construction and Safety Code. We are currently seeking professional individuals interested to participate on this technical committee with expertise in the committee scope. Technical Committee members of all classification categories are currently being sought.

Electrical Equipment and Evaluation (EEE-AAA)
The Technical Committee on Electrical Equipment and Evaluation (EEE-AAA), responsible for NFPA 790, Standard for Competency of Third-Party Field Evaluation Bodies, and NFPA 791, Recommended Practice and Procedures for Unlabeled Electrical Equipment Evaluation, each currently have a limited number of members. We are in need and seeking additional interested professionals to step forward and participate on the technical committee for the development of these standards.
Qualified applicants are being sought with expertise in the use of these standards and the various types of equipment affected. Stakeholders in the following classification categories are sought: Insurance, Consumer, Installer/Maintainer, Enforcing Authority, Special Expert, Manufacturing, and Labor.

Electronic Computer Systems (ELT-AAA)
The Technical Committee on Electronic Computer Systems is responsible for NFPA 75, Standard for the Fire Protection of Information Technology Equipment. We are currently seeking professional individuals interested to participate with expertise in the protection of electronic computer equipment, components, and associated records. Technical committee members in the User and Applied Research/Testing Laboratory classification categories are being sought.
Fuel Gases Warning Equipment (FWE-AAA)
Applicants with code enforcement experience and research/testing skills are being sought to participate in standards development. Specifically, this committee will be drafting the proposed NFPA 715, Standard for the Installation of Fuel Gases Detection and Warning Equipment.

Hyperbaric and Hypobaric Facilities (HEA-HYP) - Announcement posted 9/15/2022
The Technical Committee on Hyperbaric and Hypobaric Facilities is responsible for requirements covering the construction, installation, testing, performance, and maintenance of hyperbaric and hypobaric facilities for safeguarding staff and occupants of chambers in NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code, and NFPA 99B, Standard for Hypobaric Facilities. We are currently seeking professional individuals interested to participate on this technical committee with expertise in the storage, transfer, production, and use of hydrogen. Liquefied Petroleum Gases (LPG-AAA)
The Technical Committee on Liquefied Petroleum Gases, responsible for NFPA 58, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code, currently has a limited number of members with experience in manufacture, installation, maintenance, and inspection of propane powered automotive vehicles. We are in need and seeking additional interested professionals to step forward and participate on the technical committee for the development of this standard.
Qualified applicants who are propane vehicle component manufacturers, fuel system manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers, installers, and mechanic instructors are being sought with expertise in the use of this standard or propane powered automotive vehicles. The Technical Committee on Manufactured Housing is responsible for requirements pertaining to manufactured homes including the installation, sites and communities, and the maintenance of and improvements for existing manufactured homes in NFPA 501A, Standard for Fire Safety Criteria for Manufactured Home Installations, Sites, and Communities. We are currently seeking professional individuals and interested parties to participate on this technical committee. NEC Code-Making Panel 2 (NEC-P02) - Announcement posted 9/30/2022
The NEC Code Making Panel 2 is responsible for requirements of the National Electrical Code® (NFPA 70®) in Article 210, Article 220 Parts I through V, and Annex D (ex D1-D6). We are currently seeking professional individuals interested to participate on the Code Making Panel with expertise in the panel’s scope. Specifically, NFPA is seeking individuals classified as Enforcer, Installer/Maintainer, Research & Testing, and User.

The NEC Code Making Panel 6 is responsible for requirements of the National Electrical Code® (NFPA 70®) in Articles 310, 315, 320, 322, 324, 326, 330, 332, 334, 336, 337, 338, 340, 382, 394, 395, 396, 398, 400, and 402; Chapter 9; Annexes B and E; and Annex D (ex D7). We are currently seeking professional individuals interested to participate on the Code Making Panel with expertise in the panel’s scope. Safety to Life – Alternative Approaches to Life Safety (SAF-ALS)
